Parish Advisory Ministries

Pastoral Council
The Holy Family Pastoral Council is a leadership team of registered parishioners encompassing all age groups and diversities.  This team of elected, appointed and Ex-officio members is committed to the modeling and implementation of the Parish Mission through collaboration with the Pastoral Staff and a variety of organizations and ministries thereby promoting an appropriate stewardship of individual and collective gifts of time, talent and treasure. We meet formally once a month and are expanding our formal and informal contact with parishioners, visitors and othersup through events such as the regularly scheduled Parish Coffees.

Finance Council
The Holy Family Finance Council is a consultative body of lay persons established to advise the Pastor in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. The Council assists the Pastor in the prudent planning and administration of parish financial matters and in the effective management of parish assets. The Finance Council, though separate and distinct from the Pastoral Council, must work in collaboration with the Pastoral Council for the good of the parish. Membership is via appointment by the Pastor. The Pastor is an ex-officio member and President of the Finance Council. The Executive Officer is a lay person appointed by the Pastor to assist the Pastor in coordinating the work of the Finance Council.  Meetings are held monthly, typically upfrom September through June.

Building and Maintenance
The Building and Maintenance Committee provides advice on matters that pertain the to maintenance of parish property.  To accomplish this task, the committee draws on the talents of members of the parish to assist the Pastor with decisions on maintaining and improving the buildings and grounds. The committee also provides labor to facilitate maintenance upand improvements when this is practical. The committee meets monthly September to June.

Computer Resource Network
The Computer Resource Network (CRN) consists of volunteers from the parish that help the parish system administrator with the implementation and support of computer systems and applications. Some volunteers are engaged in ongoing support such as keeping the parish web site updated and helping staff with reports and analysis using the parish database. Other volunteers are called upon to assist with new projects, to help with troubleshooting or to provide training. The degree of involvement can be adjusted to accommodate availability and commitment. Periodically, meetings are held to update the CRN on changes in the computing environment and to plan upnew projects.
