Baptism Preparation Program
This team of clergy and parishioners facilitates the Baptism Preparation Classes for those who are preparing for the baptism of their babies or children under the age of seven. The class generally meets once a month for an hour. Please call the parish office to schedule both the class and baptism.
Altar Servers
Assist the presider at both Eucharistic and non-Eucharistic celebrations This ministry is not limited to the young. Adults may also serve as Altar Servers. The minimum age is 11. The requirements are having received First Eucharist and attendance of a formation session.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
These are parishioners who help in administering the Body of Christ within the liturgy. The minimum age is 16 and attendance at a training session is required.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist to the Sick and Homebound
These are parishioners who administer the Body of Christ to the sick and homebound. A minister is never assigned more than 3 homebound to visit.
Lectors
Youth, women, and men who proclaim the Word of God at Eucharistic and non-Eucharistic celebrations. This ministry is open to those who have good proclamation skills and can devote themselves to preparing to proclaim the scriptures. Each lector receives materials to help them better understand the scriptures they are preparing to proclaim. Minimum age is 12 and attendance at a training session is required.
Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)
Parishioners who are willing to serve the community by being present begfore, during and after each liturgy. Duties include: seating of members of the assembly, taking up the weekly collection, procuring those who will present the gifts, facilitating an orderly flow of the communion precession, and distributing the weekly bulletin. Minimum age is 16.
Silent Prayer Group
Members pray for prayer intentions received by phone. A list is sent out to each member. There are no meetings to attend. You pray wherever and whenever you choose.
Adoration & Benediction
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is every Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with Benediction at 10:30 AM. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is sung at 9:40 AM.
